Two people were killed and two injured after a train hit a car in Louisville, Ky. on Saturday. Released video footage of the incident that shows the car driving over the railroad tracks right before getting hit by the train. The identity of the victims have not been released.

KENTUCKY-

At least two people are dead and two others are injured when a freight train collided with their car in Kentucky.

The crash — captured on cell phone video — happened Saturday afternoon.

Police say the intersection’s flashing lights and sounds were activated to alert drivers of the approaching train.

Of the four people inside the white Toyota Camry, two were killed almost instantly.

The freight train did not derail, but was unable to slow down. It pushed the car about half a mile down the tracks.
 

The crash is under investigation.
