2 injured when HONDA ACURA MDX crashes into MD Dunkin' Donuts

BALTIMORE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Two people were taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a Maryland Dunkin' Donuts, Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue.
The crash occurred at the store at the 8400 block of Baltimore National Pike at about 5:36 p.m. Howard County Fire and Rescue officials said.
The two pedestrians injured were standing in front of the store when the car struck them, pushing them through the storefront. They were transported to the hospital, fire officials said.
Officials have identified the pedestrians as two males, 36-year-old Surya Nimmala and 44-year-old Siva Datti, both of Elicott City. The men are in serious but stable condition, Howard County said.
The driver of the SUV has been identified as 77-year-old Patricia Elizabeth Voelkel from Elicott City. She and two adult passengers in the car were not injured, Howard County said.
The building has been deemed uninhabitable, the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue said.
