Renee Geyer 'crashes car into shop'
Renee Geyer .. reportedly crashed her car into a shop Singer Renee Geyer has reportedly crashed her car through a shop window in the Melbourne bayside suburb of Elwood.
The 57-year-old jazz and soul performer drove her Toyota into an optometrist shop on Ormond Road about 6.30pm yesterday, News Ltd reported.
Police would not confirm the driver's identity but said she was pulling out of a parking space when her vehicle struck two cars and smashed into the glass shop front.
Bystanders at a cafe next door escaped injury.
Witnesses reportedly said the award-winning songstress, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009, appeared agitated prior to the crash, dropping her coffee on the footpath.
The woman was breath-tested and inquiries are continuing, police said.
